The Whites have impressed with their attacking brand of football since Silva arrived at Craven Cottage in 2021. Bassey claimed it is a matter of time before the Portuguese get the opportunity to coach at the highest level. “I think he’s, for me, one of the best managers in the Premier League, and no doubt, for sure, in a couple of years, he could be right at the top end of managing one of the best teams in the Premier League,” the Nigeria international told Sky Sports.
