"We are proud to be here and had to help. We are all Americans," Rabbi Marrus said. "If this doesn't make you sad, then you aren’t human," said one resident. "It's how we are," said another resident of the small town in the Texas Hill Country. "Everybody feels it," said Dick, who has lived in the town for 25 years. "How do you do all this?" asked Clint Sanders, owner of Bunker Branding. "Without your wife know how to do all of this?" he asked. "Next week maybe they will," said Sanders. "They don't need clothes right now. Next week they will." "We have a ton of donated clothes upstairs, but they’re not needed right now," said Chris Sanders, who owns the warehouse where supplies are being stored. "The Jewish community in the Hill Country is small," Marrus told me, "but we are proud of being here and having to help"
